And I myself, Paul, call on you through the meekness and gentleness of Christ I, who indeed according to face am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you;

for the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful to God to the demolition of strongholds,

but in everything commending ourselves as God’s servants, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,

with all humility and meekness, with long-suffering, bearing with one another in love,

And Moses the servant of Jehovah died there in the land of Moab, according to the command of Jehovah.

Do all things without murmurings and disputings,

doing nothing according to intrigue or self-glory, but in humility, esteeming one another, as being better than themselves;

bearing with one another and forgiving yourselves, if anyone has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also you should forgive.

But we came to be gentle in your midst, even as a nurse should warmly cherish her children.

But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness.

Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ according to the faith of the elect of God and full knowledge of the truth according to godliness,

(It is right for the overseer to be blameless as a steward of God) not self-pleasing, not prone to anger, not given to wine, not a quarreler, not greedy of ill gain;

clinging to the faithful Word according to the teaching, that he may be able both to encourage by sound doctrine and to convict the ones contradicting.

to speak evil of no one, not quarrelsome, but gentle, having displayed all meekness to all men.

James, a slave of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes in the Dispersion, greeting:

But the wisdom from above is firstly truly pure, then peaceable, gentle, yielding, full of mercy and of good fruits, not partial and not pretended.

You desire and do not have. You murder, and are jealous, and are not able to obtain. You fight and you war, and you do not have, because you do not ask.

And it happened after the dying of Moses the servant of Jehovah, Jehovah spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying,
