And I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my own age; in my race being much more a zealot of the ancestral traditions of my fathers.

I also do not cease giving thanks on your behalf, making mention of you in my prayers,

night and day praying beyond all measure for me to see your face, and to complete the things lacking in your faith?

having faith and a good conscience, which certain ones thrusting away, made shipwreck concerning the faith,

but the end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart and a good conscience, and faith without hypocrisy,

But honor the one being really a widow, even having been left alone, who has set her hope on God and continues in petitions and prayers night and day.

taking recollection of the unfeigned faith in you, which first dwelt in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded that it is also in you.

and that from a babe you know the Holy Scriptures, the ones being able to make you wise to salvation through belief in Christ Jesus.

Jesus Christ, the same yesterday and today and forever.

Also I, far be it from me from sinning against Jehovah, from ceasing to pray for you. But I will instruct you in the good and the right way.
