Now, my brothers, I myself also am persuaded concerning you, that you yourselves also are full of goodness, having been filled with all knowledge, being able to admonish one another.
And I wrote this same thing to you, lest coming I might have grief from those of whom I ought to rejoice, trusting in you all that my joy is the joy of all of you.
And we sent with them our brother whom we often proved in many things to be earnest, and now much more earnest by the great confidence which I have toward you.
So, then, my beloved, even as you always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much rather in my absence, cultivate your salvation with fear and trembling,
And we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to draw yourselves back from every brother walking in a disorderly way, and not according to the teaching which you received from us.
