And King David came in and sat before Jehovah, and said: Who am I, O Lord Jehovah, and what is my house, that You have brought me to here?

This grace was given to me, I being less than the least of all the saints, to preach the gospel of the incomprehensable riches of Christ among the nations,

And he said to Him, Oh my Lord, with what shall I deliver Israel? Behold, my family is the weakest in Manasseh, and I the least in my father’s house.

And she fell on her face and bowed to the earth, and said to him, Why have I found grace in your eyes, that you should notice me, and I a foreign one?

And Samuel said, Is it not true, even you, when you were little in your own eyes you became head of the tribes of Israel? And Jehovah anointed you for king over Israel.

And David said to Saul, Who am I, and what is my life, and the family of my father in Israel, that I should be son-inlaw to the king?

And Saul answered and said, Am I not a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel? And my family is the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin. And why have you spoken to me according to this word?
