When your days are fulfilled, and you lie with your fathers, even I shall raise up your seed after you, who shall come out from your loins, and I shall establish his kingdom.

And behold! The Word of Jehovah came to him saying, This one shall not be inheriting. But he that shall come forth out of your own bowels shall be your heir.

A tower of salvation is He to His king; even doing mercy to His anointed, to David and to his seed, until forever!

And it will be, when my lord the king lies with his fathers, that I, my son Solomon and I, shall be offenders.

And also the king has said, Blessed is Jehovah the God of Israel who has today given one sitting on my throne, and my eyes seeing it.

And the days of David drew near for him to die. And he commanded his son Solomon, saying,

And David lay with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David.

so that Jehovah may establish His Word which He spoke to me, saying, If your sons take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth, with all their heart, and with all their soul, saying, There shall not be a man to you cut off from the throne of Israel.

And, behold, I am saying to build a house to the name of Jehovah my God, as Jehovah spoke to my father David, saying, Your son whom I will appoint in your place on your throne, he shall build the house for My name.

And he said, Blessed be Jehovah, God of Israel, who spoke by His mouth with my father David, and by his hand has fulfilled it, saying,

only, you shall not build the house, but your son who shall come out from your loins, he shall build the house for My name.

And Jehovah has lifted up His Word that He spoke; for I have risen up instead of my father David and sit on the throne of Israel, as Jehovah spoke, and have built the house for the name of Jehovah, the God of Israel;

even I shall lift up the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, as I spoke to your father David, saying, There shall not fail you a man on the throne of Israel.

And Jehovah was not willing to destroy Judah, for His servant David’s sake, as He had said to give him a lamp to his sons forever.

and it shall be, when your days have been fulfilled to go away with your fathers, that I shall raise up your Seed after you, who shall be of your sons, and I shall establish His kingdom.

Now, O Jehovah God, Your Word with my father David is confirmed, for You have made me to reign over a people as many as the dust of the earth.

Do you not know that Jehovah the God of Israel has given the kingdom to David over Israel forever, to him and to his sons, a covenant of salt?

And Jehovah was not willing to destroy the house of David, for the sake of the covenant that He made with David, and as He had spoken, to give a lamp to him and to his sons all the days.

And all the assembly made a covenant in the house of God with the king, and he said to them, Behold, the king’s son shall reign, as Jehovah has spoken of the sons of David.

who has kept with Your servant David, my father, that which You spoke to him; yea, You spoke with Your mouth, and You have fulfilled with Your hand, as at this day.

but you shall not build the house, for your son who comes forth out of your loins, he shall build the house for My name.

And I have set his Seed forever, and His throne as the days of the heavens.

And it shall be in that day, the Root of Jesse is it that stands as a banner of peoples; nations shall seek to Him; and His resting place shall be glory.

There is no end to the increase of His dominion and of peace on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it, and to sustain it with judgment and with righteousness, from now and to eternity. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will do this.

For so says Jehovah, Not a man sitting on the throne of the house of Israel will be cut off to David.

And many of the sleeping ones in the dust of the ground shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproaches and to everlasting abhorrence.

The Book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the Son of David, the son of Abraham:

This One will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.

And beginning from Moses, and from all the prophets, He explained to them, in all the Scriptures, the things about Himself.

For having served his own generation by the purpose of God, David truly fell asleep and was added to his fathers and saw corruption. 1 Kings. 2:10

Being a prophet, therefore, and knowing that God swore with an oath to him that of the fruit of his loin, as concerning flesh, to raise the Christ to sit down on his throne, see Psa. 132:11

Behold, I tell a mystery to you: we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Behold, you shall lie with your fathers, and this people shall rise up and go fornicating after the gods of the foreigners of the land into which they are going, and they shall forsake Me and shall break My covenant which I made with it.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, also God will also bring with Him all the ones having fallen asleep through Jesus.
