And I am weak today, though anointed king. And these men, the sons of Zeruiah, are too hard for me. May Jehovah reward the doer of evil according to his evil!

And the king said, What have I to do with you, sons of Zeruiah? For let him curse, even because Jehovah has said to him, Curse David. And who shall say, Why have you done so?

And say to Amasa, Are you not my bone and my flesh? So shall God do to me, and more so He shall do, if you are not commander of the army before me all the days, instead of Joab.

And David said, What is to me and to you, sons of Zeruiah, that you are as an adversary to me today? Shall any man die today in Israel? For do I not know that today I am king over Israel?

And the king said to his servants, Do you not know that a leader and a great one has fallen this day in Israel?

And Jehovah shall turn back his blood on his own head, who has fallen on two men more righteous and better than he, and murdered them with the sword; and my father David not knowing: Abner the son of Ner, the commander of the army of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, the commander of the army of Judah.

And now, do not acquit him, for you are a wise man, and you know that which you shall do to him and shall bring his old age down with blood to Sheol.

And David said, My son Solomon is a youth and tender, and the house to be built to Jehovah is to be made great, to a height, for a name and for beauty to all the land; I pray, let me prepare for it. And David prepared in abundance before his death.

And David the king said to all the congregation, My son Solomon, the one whom God has chosen, is young and tender. And the work is great, for the temple is not for man, but for Jehovah God.

And vain men gathered to him, sons of worthlessness, and they made themselves strong against Rehoboam the son of Solomon; and Rehoboam was a youth and tender of heart, and could not be strong against them.

In the mornings I will cut off every wicked one of the land, so that I may cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of Jehovah.

Give to them according to their deeds and according to the evil of their practices; as is the work of their hands, give to them, repay their deeds to them.

Also kindness belongs to You, O Lord, for You reward a man according to his work.

His mischief shall turn back on his own head, and his violence shall come down on his own crown.

And I will cut off all the horns of the wicked ones; but the horns of the righteous one shall be lifted up.

He that strikes a man so that he dies, dying he shall die.

A king who sits on the throne of judgment scatters away all evil with his eyes.

Take away the wicked one from before the king, and his throne is established in righteousness.

Woe to the wicked one! For the evil thing, the doing of his hand will be done to him.

And say to him, Be on guard and be quiet. Do not fear and not be timid of heart because of the two tails of these smoking firebrands, because of the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

And Zedekiah the king said, Behold, he is in your hand. For the king is not able to do a thing against you.

And the king commanded. And they brought Daniel, and they cast him into the lions’ den. The king spoke and said to Daniel, Your God whom you constantly serve will deliver you.

But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against Jehovah, and know that your sin will find you out.

for it is a servant of God to you for the good. But if you do the bad things, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword in vain; for it is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to the one practicing bad things.

And all the evil of the men of Shechem God turned back on their heads. And the curse of Jotham the son of Jerubbaal came on them.
