And Jehovah sent a plague on Israel from the morning even to the time appointed. And from Dan even to Beer-sheba seventy thousand of the people died.

And the king said to Joab, the commander of the army that was with him, Go about now to and fro through all the tribes of Israel, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, and number the people, that I may know the number of the people.

And Jehovah sent a plague into Israel, and seventy thousand men of Israel fell.

Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he did not finish. And wrath was on Israel for this. And the number did not go up in the account of the Matters of the Days of King David.

And over the division of the second month was Eleazar the son of Dodo of Ahoah, and of his division, Mikloth was the ruler, and in his division, twenty-four thousand.

And the Angel of Jehovah went out and struck a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the camp of Assyria. And they rose early in the morning; and, behold! They were all corpses who died.

Jehovah, I have heard Your report; I am afraid, Jehovah. As to Your work, give it life; in the midst of years, in the midst of years make known; in anger remember compassion.

And those that died by the plague were twenty-four thousand.

For nation will be raised up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and plagues and earthquakes against many places.

And I saw, and behold, a pale green horse, and the name of the one sitting on it, the name to him was Death; and Hades followed after him. And authority was given to them to kill over the fourth of the earth with sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the wild beasts of the earth.

And He struck among the men of Beth-shemish, because they looked into the ark of Jehovah. Yea, He struck seventy among the people, fifty out of a thousand men. And the people mourned because Jehovah destroyed among the people with a great slaughter.
