And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada from Kabzeel, a son of a mighty man, great in deeds; he struck two lionlike men of Moab. And he went down and struck a lion in the middle of a pit in a day of snow.

and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and the sons of David were first ones at the hand of the king.

Then the chiefs of Edom were terrified; the leaders of Moab were seized by trembling; all those dwelling in Canaan were melted.

And the cities at the furthest border of the tribe of the sons of Judah were to the border of Edom in the south: Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,
