And a man of worthlessness met them there, and his name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a man of Benjamin. And he blew the rams’ horn and said, We have no part in David, and we have no inheritance in the son of Jesse; each man to his tents, O Israel.

And the woman came to all the people in her wisdom. And they cut off the head of Sheba the son of Bichri and threw it to Joab. And he blew the rams’ horn, and they were dispersed from the city, each man to his tents. And Joab went back to Jerusalem to the king.

And set two men, sons of worthlessness, across from him; and they shall testify of him, saying, You have cursed God and the king. And they shall bring him out and stone him; and he shall die.

And she went. And she came and gleaned in the field after the reapers. And she came to meet by circumstance on the parcel of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of Elimelech’s family.

And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son who came out of my loins is seeking my life, and surely now also the Benjamite. Leave him alone, and let him curse, for Jehovah has spoken to him.

And if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
