No one in this house is greater than I, and he has not withheld anything from me except you, because you are his wife. And how should I do this great evil and sin against God?
And after he had numbered the people, the heart of David struck him. And David said to Jehovah, I have sinned greatly in that which I have done. And now, O Jehovah, I pray, take away the iniquity of your servant, for I have acted very foolishly.
And when he saw the angel who was striking among the people, David spoke to Jehovah and said, Behold, I have sinned. Yea, I have acted perversely. And these, the flock, what have they done? Now let your hand be on me, and on my father’s house.
And it happened when the king heard the saying of the man of God which he had cried against the altar in Beth-el, Jereboam put out his hand from the altar, saying, Seize him. And his hand which he put out against him withered, and he was not able to bring it back to him.
And Ahab said to Elijah, Have you found me, O my enemy? And he said, I have found you, because you have sold yourself to do that which is evil in the eyes of Jehovah.
And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Yet one man, to seek Jehovah by him. But I hate him, for he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil, Micaiah the son of Imlah. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

And it happened, as he spoke with him, that he said to him, Have we given you as a counselor to the king? Stop yourself! Why should they strike you? And the prophet stopped, and said, I know that God has counseled to destroy you because you have done this, and have not listened to my counsel.
And Pharaoh sent and called Moses and Aaron, and said to them, I have sinned this time. Jehovah is the righteous One, and I and my people the wicked ones.
You have not bought calamus for Me with silver, nor have you filled Me with the fat of your sacrifices; but only you made Me serve by your sins; you wearied Me by your iniquities.
And a man who commits adultery with a man’s wife, who commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor, the adulterer and the adulteress dying shall die.

And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not even lift up his eyes to Heaven, but smote on his breast, saying, God, be merciful to me, the sinner!
since it was necessary for Him to suffer often from the foundation of the world. But now once, at the completion of the ages, He has been revealed for putting away of sin through the sacrifice of Himself.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of His Son Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.
even from Jesus Christ the faithful Witness, the First-begotten out of the dead ones, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To the One loving us and having washed us from our sins by His blood,
And Saul said to Samuel, I did obey the voice of Jehovah, and I went in the way which Jehovah sent me, and brought Agag the king of Amalek, and I completely destroyed Amalek.
And he said, I have sinned. Honor me now, please, before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and return with me; and I shall worship Jehovah your God.
