And tear your heart, and not your clothes; and turn to Jehovah your God. For He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and He has pity concerning you.

But Paul and Barnabas, the apostles, hearing, tearing their garments, they leaped out into the crowd, crying out,

Rejoice with rejoicing ones, and weep with weeping ones;

And Joshua tore his clothing, and fell on his face to the earth before the ark of Jehovah until the evening, he and the elders of Israel. And they threw dust on their heads.
