For these things being in you, and abounding, they will place you so as not to be idle, not unfruitful into the full knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Laziness makes one fall into a deep sleep, and an idle soul shall be hungry.

And the seed sown into the thornbushes is this: the one hearing the Word, and the anxiety of this age, and the deceit of riches, choke the Word, and it becomes unfruitful.

And going out about the third hour, he saw others standing idle in the market.

And going out about the eleventh hour, he found others standing idle, and said to them, Why do you stand here idle all day?

And answering, his lord said to him, Evil and slothful slave! You knew that I reap where I did not sow, and I gather where I did not scatter.

Every branch in Me not bearing fruit, He takes it away; and every branch bearing fruit, He prunes, so that it may bear more fruit.

And this is everlasting life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the One whom You sent.

but I have known you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves.

in diligence, not slothful, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;

So that, my beloved brothers, you be firm, immovable, abounding in the work of the Lord always, knowing that your labor is not fruitless in the Lord.

Test yourselves, whether you are in the faith; examine yourselves. Or do you not yourselves perceive that Jesus Christ is in you, unless you are disapproved?

that in much testing of trouble, the overflowing of their joy and the depth of their poverty abounded to the riches of their generosity.

But even as you abound in everything, in faith, and in word, and in knowledge, and in all earnestness, and in your love in us, that you also should abound in this grace.

and with their petition for you, a longing after you, because of the overflowing grace of God on you.

And this I pray, that your love may yet abound more and more in full knowledge and all perception,

For think this within you, which mind was also in Christ Jesus,

But, nay, rather I also count all things to be loss because of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them to be trash, that I might gain Christ

for you to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work and growing into the full knowledge of God;

having been rooted and being built up in Him, and being confirmed in the faith, even as you were taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.

Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

And may the Lord make you to increase and to abound in love toward one another and toward all, even as we do also toward you,

For the rest then, brothers, we beg you and we exhort in the Lord Jesus, even as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more.

Brothers, we ought always to give thanks to God about you, even as it is right, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each one of all of you multiplies toward one another,

and with it all, they also learn to be idle, going around the houses, and not only idle, but also bubbling gossip, and trifling ones, speaking the things not proper.

And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they may not be without fruit.

so that the fellowship of your faith may be effective in a full knowledge of every good thing in you for Jesus Christ.

that you not become dull, but imitators of the ones who through faith and long-suffering are inheriting the promises.

Grace to you, and peace be multiplied by a full knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.

As His divine power having given as a gift to us all things pertaining to life and godliness through the full knowledge of the One calling us through glory and virtue,

For if by a recognition of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, having escaped the defilements of the world, and again being entangled they are overcome by these, then the last things of them have become worse than the first.

But grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
