And Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had revived, saying, Rise up and go, you and your household. And reside where you can reside, for Jehovah has called for a famine. And also, it shall come on the land seven years.

And a famine was in the land, so Abram went down into Egypt to stay there. For the famine was heavy in the land.

And Elijah the Tishbite, of the sojourners of Gilead, said to Ahab, As Jehovah the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall be no dew nor rain these years, except according to my word.

And Elijah went to be seen by Ahab. And the famine in Samaria was severe.

And the boy grew, and the day came that he went out to his father, to the reapers.

And he called Gehazi and said, Call this Shunammite. And he called her, and she came in to him. And he said, Take up your son.

And Elisha returned to Gilgal. And the famine was in the land. And the sons of the prophets were sitting before him. And he said to his young man, Set on the big pot and boil soup for the sons of the prophets.

And it happened to him in this way; yea, the people trampled him in the gate, and he died.

And the woman rose up and did according to the word of the man of God. And she and her household went and stayed in the land of the Philistines seven years.

And He called a famine on the land; He broke the whole staff of bread.

a fruitful land to a salty desert, because of the evil of those who live in it.

For, behold, I begin to bring evil on the city on which is called My name, and shall you be found clearly free from guilt? You shall not be free from guilt. For I will call for a sword on all those living in the earth, a statement of Jehovah of Hosts.

And I called for a drought in the land, and on the mountains, and on the grain, and on the new wine, and on the oil, and on that which the ground brings forth, and on man, and on livestock, and on all the labor of your palms.

Also there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines, and plagues. And also there will be terrors and great signs from Heaven.

For these are days of vengeance when all things that have been written are to be fulfilled.

But on a truth I say to you, Many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah when the heaven was shut up over three years and six months, when a great famine came on all the land;

And rising up one of them, Agabus by name, signified through the Spirit that a great famine was about to be over all the inhabited earth, which also happened on Claudius Caesar’s time.

And it happened in the days of the judging, of those judging, there was a famine in the land. And a man from Bethlehemjudah went to live in the fields of Moab, he and his wife, and his two sons.
