And they came down to it, and Elisha prayed to Jehovah and said, I pray, strike this people with blindness. And He struck them with blindness, according to the word of Elisha.
And Elisha said to them, This is not the way, and this is not the city. Go after me, and I will bring you to the man you seek. And he led them to Samaria.
And I will have mercy on the house of Judah and will save them by Jehovah their God. And I will not save them by bow or by sword, or by battle, by horses, or by horsemen.
In that day, a statement of Jehovah, I will strike every horse with panic and his rider with madness, says Jehovah. And I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and I will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.
“He has blinded their eyes” and “has hardened their heart,” “that they might not see with the eyes” and “understand with the heart,” “and turn back,” “and I should heal them.” Isa. 6:10
And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is on you, and you will be blind, not seeing the sun until a time. And instantly a mist and darkness fell on him, and going about he sought some to lead him by the hand.
