And also Manasseh has shed very much innocent blood, till he has filled Jerusalem from mouth to mouth; apart from his sin that he caused Judah to sin, to do evil in the eyes of Jehovah.

Because Manasseh the king of Judah has done these disgusting things, doing more wickedly than all that the Amorites did before him, and has made Judah also to sin with his idols,

because they have done evil in My eyes, and have provoked Me to anger from the day their fathers came out from Egypt, even to this day.

And he did the evil in the eyes of Jehovah, like the disgusting things of the nations that Jehovah dispossessed from before the sons of Israel.

And he set a graven image of the Asherah he had made in the house of which Jehovah had said to David and to his son Solomon, In this house, and in Jerusalem, that I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put My name forever.

But he clung to the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin. He did not turn aside from it.

And Manasseh led astray Judah and those living in Jerusalem to do evil above the nations that Jehovah destroyed before the sons of Israel.

And Moses said to Aaron, What has this people done to you that you have made to come on them a great sin?

These six things Jehovah hates; yea, seven are disgusting things to his soul;

a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

And I will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh, the son of Hezekiah, king of Judah; for what he did in Jerusalem.

Because they have forsaken Me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it to other gods whom they and their fathers have not known, and not the kings of Judah, and they have filled this place with the blood of innocent ones,

Also on your skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents; I have not found them breaking in, but on all these.

For this city has been to Me a cause of My anger and My wrath from the day that they built it even to this day, that I should remove it from My face;

if you do not oppress the sojourner, the orphan, and the widow; and do not pour out innocent blood in this place, and do not go after other gods to your evil;

And you, son of man, will you judge, will you judge the bloody city? Then cause her to know all her disgusting things.

By your blood which you have poured out, you are guilty; and by your idols which you have made, you are defiled. And your days are brought near, and you have come to your years. Therefore, I have made you a reproach to the nations, and a mocking to all the lands.

And as righteous men, they shall judge them with the judgment of adulteresses, and the judgment of women who pour out blood, because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.

And He said to me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and of Judah is very, very great, and the land is filled with blood, and the city is full of perversity. For they say, Jehovah has forsaken the land; and, Jehovah does not see.

And you shall not pollute the land in which you are, for blood pollutes the land. And nothing is to be taken to atone for the land for blood which is shed in it, except for the blood of him who sheds it;

And taking the pieces of silver, the chief priests said, It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, since it is the price of blood.

Jerusalem! Jerusalem! The one killing the prophets, and stoning the ones having been sent to her, how often I desired to gather your children in the way a hen gathers her brood under the wings, and you did not desire it.

they were stoned; they were tried; they were sawn in two; they died by murder of sword; they went about in sheepskins and in goatskins, being in need, being afflicted, being tormented;
