and he sent Eliakim, who was over the house, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covering themselves with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.

And the king and all his servants who heard these words were not afraid, nor did they tear their garments.

so that might be fulfilled that spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:

as it has been written in the scroll of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying: “the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight.
