O Jehovah, stretch out Your ear and hear; O Jehovah, open Your eyes and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib with which he has sent him to reproach the living God.

It may be that Jehovah your God will hear all the words of the chief cupbearer, with which his master the king of Assyria has sent him to reproach the living God, and will rebuke the words which Jehovah your God has heard; and you shall lift up prayer for the remnant that is found.

Now, My God, I pray, let Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to the prayer of this place;

Stretch out Your ear to me; deliver me quickly, be a strong rock to me, for a house of fortresses to save me.

Arise, O God, contend for Your cause; remember Your reproach from the foolish one all the day.

And turn back to our neighbors sevenfold. Give into their bosom their reproach with which they have reproached You, O Lord.

O my God, stretch out Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our ruins and the city which is called with Your name on it. For we do not make our prayers fall before You on account of our righteousnesses, but because of Your great mercies.
