And he burned them at the outside of Jerusalem, in the fields of Kidron, and bore their ashes to Beth-el.

The wicked one finds favor; he does not learn righteousness; he acts wrongfully in the land of straight things, and he does not see the majesty of Jehovah.

But you shall deal with them in this way: you shall break down their altars, and dash in pieces the cult-stones; and you shall cut down their Asherahs; and you will burn their carved images with fire.
