And Asa took all the silver and gold that remained in the treasures of the house of Jehovah, and the treasures of the king’s house, and gave them into his servants’ hand; and King Asa sent them to Ben-hadad, the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, the king of Syria, who lived at Damascus, saying,
And it shall be, he who escapes from the sword of Hazael, Jehu shall cause to die; and he who escapes from the sword of Jehu, Elisha shall cause to die.
from the Jordan eastward, the whole land of Gilead, of the Gadites, and the Reubenites, and the Manassites, from Aroer by the Arnon torrent, even Gilead and Bashan.
And the anger of Jehovah burned against Israel, and He gave them into the hand of Hazael the king of Syria, and into the hand of Ben-hadad the son of Hazael, all the days.
And Ahaz took the silver and the gold which was found in the house of Jehovah, and in the treasures of the king’s house, and sent to the king of Assyria a bribe.
And now therefore hear the Word of Jehovah, remnant of Judah, So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel: If setting you set your faces to go into Egypt, and go to sojourn there,
And he shall set his face to go in with the might of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; and he shall do. And he shall give the daughter of women to him, to destroy it. But she shall not stand, and not be for him.
And every food offering which was baked in an oven, and all that is prepared in the stewing pan, and on the griddle, shall be the priest’s that offers it; it is his.
This shall be yours of the most holy things, from the fire: every offering of theirs, even every food offering of theirs, and every sin offering of theirs, and every guilt offering of theirs, which they may render to Me; it shall be most holy to you, and to your sons.
