To the Chief Musician, on the deer of the dawn. A Psalm of David. My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me, and are far from My deliverance, from the words of My groaning?
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk in the fire, you shall not be burned, and not shall the flame kindle on you.
Not shall be said to you any more, Forsaken; and not your land shall be said to you any more, Desolate. But you shall be called, My Delight is in Her; and your land, Married. For Jehovah delights in you, and your land is married.
Though the fig tree shall not blossom, and fruit is not on the vines; the product of the olive fails, and the fields make no food; the flock is cut off from the fold, and no herd is in the stalls,
Remember the Word which I said to you, A slave is not greater than his master. If they persecuted Me, they also will persecute you. If they kept My Word, they also will keep yours.
Set your way of life without moneyloving, being satisfied with present things; for He has said, “Not I will leave you, not ever! Nor I will not forsake you, not ever!” Deut. 31:6
