But now we have been set free from the Law, having died to that in which we were held, so as for us to serve in newness of spirit, and not in oldness of letter.
In the same way the cup also, after the order to eat supper, He said, This cup is the New Covenant in My blood; as often as you drink, do this in remembrance of Me.
And God placed some in the assembly, firstly, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then works of power; then gifts of healing, helps, governings, kinds of languages.
According to God’s grace given to me, as a wise master builder, I laid a foundation, but another builds on it. But let each one look how he builds on it.
Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as beside myself) I being beyond them: in labors, more abundantly; in stripes, beyond measure; in prisons, much more; in deaths, many times.

Because even Christ once suffered concerning sins, the Just One on behalf of the unjust ones, that He might bring us to God; indeed being put to death in the flesh, but being made alive in the Spirit;
That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we beheld, and that which our hands touched, as regards the Word of Life.
