For even if I also somewhat more abundantly may boast about our authority, which the Lord gave us for building up and not for your destruction, I will not be put to shame,
For if I desire to boast, I will not be foolish, for I speak the truth. But I spare, lest anyone considers me to be beyond what he sees me or hears anything from me.
Because of this, I write these things while absent, that being present I may not deal severelywith you according to the authority which the Lord gave me for building up and not for destruction.
Because if I have boasted anything to him about you, I was not ashamed. But as we spoke all things in truth to you, so also our boasting as to Titus became truth.
For which cause I also suffer these things. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that He is able to guard my deposit until that Day.
