And I call God as witness to my soul that to spare you I came no more to Corinth.

And what I write to you, behold, before God I do not lie.

What do you desire? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of meekness?

Because of this, I write these things while absent, that being present I may not deal severelywith you according to the authority which the Lord gave me for building up and not for destruction.

I said before, and I say beforehand, as being present the second time and being absent now, I write to the ones having sinned before, and all the rest, that if I come again I will not spare,

For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of His Son, how without ceasing I make mention of you

For God is my witness how I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

For I fear lest somehow, coming, I not find you as I wish, and I be found by you such as you do not wish; lest somehow there be strifes, envyings, angers, intrigues, evil speakings, slanders, puffings up, disturbances;

For neither were we then found with a word of flattery, even as you know, nor with pretense of covetousness (God is witness),

The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ knows, the One being blessed to the ages, that I am not lying.

Why? Because I do not love you? God knows.

but I ask, not being present, that I may be bold with the confidence which I think to be bold gainst some, the ones reckoning us as walking according to flesh.

But God is faithful, that our word to you did not become yes and no.

to give over such a one to Satan for destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

I say the truth in Christ, I do not lie, my conscience bearing witness with me in the Holy Spirit,

And after these things, departing from Athens, Paul came to Corinth.

And Crispus, the synagogue ruler, was believing the Lord along with all his household. And hearing, many of the Corinthians were believing and were being baptized.

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, through the will of God, and Timothy the brother, to the assembly of God being in Corinth, with all the saints being in all Achaia,

in pureness, in knowledge, in long-suffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in unfeigned love,

The truth of Christ is in me, that this boasting shall not be silenced in me in the regions of Achaia.
