And at that time Solomon made a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath to the torrent of Egypt, before Jehovah our God, seven days and seven days, fourteen days.
And on the twenty-third day of the seventh month, he sent the people to their tents, rejoicing and glad of heart, for the goodness that Jehovah had done to David, and to Solomon, and to His people Israel.
Also day by day, from the first day until the last day, he read in the Book of the Law of God. And they performed the feast seven days, and on the eighth day was an assembly according to the Law.
Seven days you shall bring a fire offering to Jehovah; on the eighth day you shall have a holy gathering; and you shall bring the fire offering to Jehovah; it is a solemn assembly; you shall do no work of service.
