And the singers, the sons of Asaph, were in their place, according to David’s command, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the seer of the king; and the gatekeepers were at each gate; it was not for them to depart from their service, for their brothers the Levites prepared for them.

and four thousand were gatekeepers, and four thousand giving praise to Jehovah with instruments which I made, said David, for praising.

And they stood in their place according to their ordinance, according to the Law of Moses the man of God. The priests were sprinkling the blood out of the hand of the Levites.

And afterward they prepared for themselves, and for the priests; for the priests, the sons of Aaron, were offering up the burnt offering and the fat until nightfall; and the Levites prepared for themselves and for the priests, the sons of Aaron.

And all the service of Jehovah was prepared on that day, to perform the Passover, and to offer burnt offerings on the altar of Jehovah, according to the command of King Josiah.

And according to the ordinance of his father David, he made the divisions of the priests over their service, and of the Levites over their charges, to praise and to minister before the priests, according to the matter of every day, and the gatekeepers in their divisions at every gate, for so was the command of David the man of God.

And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of Jehovah, they made stand the priests in their robes with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals to praise Jehovah, according to the ordinance of David king of Israel.

For the priests and the Levites were purified together; all of them were pure. And they slaughtered the passover lamb for all the sons of the exile, and for their brothers the priests, and for themselves.

To the chief musician. On Jeduthun. A Psalm of Asaph. My voice is to God, and I cry; my voice is to God, and He gave ear to me.

A Lesson of Asaph. Give ear, O my people, to my law; stretch out your ears to the words of my mouth.

A Psalm of Asaph. O God, the nations have come into Your inheritance; they have defiled Your holy temple; they have laid Jerusalem in heaps.
