2 Chronicles 34:9

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And they came to Hilkiah the high priest, and they gave the silver brought into the house of God, that the Levites who guarded the threshold had gathered from the hand of Manasseh and Ephraim, and from all the remnant of Israel, and from all Judah and Benjamin, and the ones living in Jerusalem.

And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring out from the temple of Jehovah all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for Asherah, and for all the host of the heavens. And he burned them at the outside of Jerusalem, in the fields of Kidron, and bore their ashes to Beth-el.

And the runners passed from city to city in the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, even to Zebulun. And they were laughing at them, and mocking them.

For many of the assembly, many from Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun had not been sanctified, but ate the passover not as was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, O good Jehovah, atone for them,

And when all this was finished, all Israel who were found went out to the cities of Judah and smashed the standing pillars, and cut down the Asherahs, and broke down the high places and the altars out of all Judah, and Benjamin, and in Ephraim, and Manasseh, even to the finishing. And all the sons of Israel returned, each man to his possession, to their cities.

And they gave it into the hand of the ones doing the work, those appointed in the house of Jehovah; and they gave it to the ones doing the work who were working in the house of Jehovah to repair and to make strong the house.

And Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest has given a book to me; and Shaphan read it before the king.

And the king commanded Hilkiah, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Abdon the son of Micah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the servant of the king, saying,

And Hilkiah and those of the king went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, the keeper of the robes; and she was living in Jerusalem in the Second. And they spoke to her about this.

And his leaders lifted up for a freewill offering to the people, to the priests, and to the Levites: Hilkiah, and Zechariah, and Jehiel, rulers in the house of God, gave to the priest two thousand and six hundred for passover offerings, and three hundred oxen.

For the rest, brothers, as many things as are true, as many as are honorable, as many as are right, as many as are pure, as many as are pleasing, as many as are of good report, if of any virtue, and if of any praise, meditate on these things.
