And King Joash called to Jehoiada the priest, and the priests, and said to them, Why have you not made strong the breach of the house? And now, do not receive any silver from your friends, but give it for the breach of the house.
And he had brothers, the sons of Jehoshaphat: Azariah, and Jehiel, and Zechariah, and Azariah, and Michael, and Shephatiah; all these were the sons of Jehoshaphat the king of Israel.
He was a son of thirty two years when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem; and he left without being desired, and they buried him in the city of David, but not in the graves of the kings.
Men, brothers, it is permitted to say to you with boldness concerning the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is among us until this day.
So says Jehovah the God of Israel, I said indeed that your house and your father’s house should walk before Me until forever. But now, a statement of Jehovah, Be it far from Me! For those who honor Me I will honor, and those despising Me will be despised.
