And the acts of Rehoboam, the first and the last, are they not written in the records of Shemaiah the prophet, and of Iddo the seer as to genealogy? And the wars of Rehoboam and Jeroboam lasted all the days.

And I will overturn the throne of the kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations. And I will overturn the chariots and those riding in them, and the horses and those riding will come down, each man by the sword of his brother.
For nation will be raised against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there shall be earthquakes in many places. And there shall be famines and tumults. These things are the beginnings of birth-pangs.
And the anger of Jehovah burned against Israel, and He gave them into the hand of plunderers; and they plundered them. And He sold them into the hand of their enemies all around, and they were not able to stand before their enemies any longer.
