Let a widow be enrolled having become not less than sixty years, the wife of one man,
And they shall take other stones and bring them in to the place of the stones; and he shall take other clay and shall plaster the house.
Let deacons be husbands of one wife, ruling their own houses and children well.
Therefore it is right for the overseer to be blameless, husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, well-ordered, hospitable, apt at teaching;
But refuse younger widows; for whenever they grow lustful against Christ, they desire to marry,
Therefore, I purpose the younger women to marry, to bear children, to rule the house, giving no occasion to the one opposing, because of reproach.
If any believing man or believing woman has widows, let them relieve them, and do not burden the assembly, that it may relieve the ones being really widows.
