so shall My Word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall do that which I please, and it shall prosper in that which I sent it to do!
But if they had stood in My counsel and had caused My people to hear My words, then they would have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
But you watch yourselves, for they will give you over to sanhedrins and to synagogues. You will be beaten, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them.
But take heed to yourselves that your hearts not be loaded down with headaches, and drinking, and anxieties of life, and that day come suddenly upon you.
Then obtaining help from God, I stand until this day, witnessing both to small and to great, saying nothing except what the prophets and Moses also said was going to happen:
And brothers I exhort you to watch the ones making divisions and causes of stumbling contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them.
I became to the weak ones as weak, that I might gain the weak ones. To all people I have become all things, that in any and every way I might save some.
so that we may no longer be little children, being blown and carried about by every wind of doctrine, in the trickery of men, in craftiness to the deceit of error,
forbidding us from speaking to the nations in order that they be saved, to the filling up of their sins always. But the wrath of God is come on them to the end.
Having laid down these things to the brothers, you will be a good servant of Jesus Christ, having been nourished by the words of the faith, and by the good doctrine which you have followed.
clinging to the faithful Word according to the teaching, that he may be able both to encourage by sound doctrine and to convict the ones contradicting.
watching diligently that not any lack from the grace of God, that “no root of bitterness growing up” may crowd “in on you,” and through this many be defiled; Deut. 29:18
Do not be carried away by various and strange doctrine; for it is good that the heart be confirmed by grace, not by foods, in which those walking in them were not profited.
