I am of the peaceful, faithful ones of Israel. You are seeking to cause to die a city, and a mother in Israel. Why will you swallow up the inheritance of Jehovah?

For the rest, brothers, as many things as are true, as many as are honorable, as many as are right, as many as are pure, as many as are pleasing, as many as are of good report, if of any virtue, and if of any praise, meditate on these things.

And eagerly aspiring to be quiet, and to do your own things, and to work with your own hands, as we enjoined you,

Eagerly pursue peace and holiness with all, without which no one will see the Lord,
