First of all therefore, I exhort that petitions, prayers, supplications, and thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men,

so that they may offer sacrifices of soothing fragrance to the God of Heaven, and pray for the life of the king and of his sons.

And blessed is His glorious name forever; and the whole earth is filled with His glory! Amen and amen!

And seek the peace of the city, there where I have caused you to be exiled. And pray to Jehovah for it; for in its peace you shall have peace.

Indeed, therefore, God overlooking the times of ignorance, now strictly commands all men everywhere to repent,

Firstly, truly, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of in all the world.

But thanks be to God that you were slaves of sin, but you obeyed from the heart a form of doctrine to which you were given over.

For I gave over to you among the first things what I also received, that Christ died in behalf of our sins, according to the Scriptures,

for us to call on Titus, that even as he began before, so also he might complete this grace to you also.

Therefore, I ask you not to weaken at my afflictions on your behalf, which is your glory.

giving thanks at all times for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, even to God the Father,

through all prayer and petition, praying at all seasons in the Spirit, and being alert to this same end, with all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints.

I thank my God on all the remembrance of you,

Be anxious about nothing, but in everything by prayer and by petition with thanksgivings, let your requests be made known to God;

And may the Lord make you to increase and to abound in love toward one another and toward all, even as we do also toward you,

Brothers, we ought always to give thanks to God about you, even as it is right, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each one of all of you multiplies toward one another,

who desires all men to be saved and to come to a full knowledge of truth.

But honor the one being really a widow, even having been left alone, who has set her hope on God and continues in petitions and prayers night and day.

But a slave of the Lord ought not to quarrel, but to be gentle towards all, apt to teach, forbearing,

For the saving grace of God has appeared to all men,

to speak evil of no one, not quarrelsome, but gentle, having displayed all meekness to all men.

But we desire each of you to show the same diligence, to the full assurance of the hope to the end;

Confess to one another the deviations from the Law, and pray for one another, that you may be healed; being very strong, the prayer of a righteous one works effectually.
