For our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we had our conduct in the world in simplicity and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, and especially toward you.

if, indeed, you heard of the stewardship of the grace of God given to me for you,

And, confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in flesh, was justified in Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

But refuse the profane and old-womanish myths. And exercise yourself to godliness.

But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness.

O Timothy, guard the Deposit, having turned away from the profane empty babblings and opposing theories of the falsely named knowledge,

Remind them of these things, solemnly testifying before the Lord not to dispute about words for nothing useful, to the subversion of those hearing.

But flee youthful lust and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, with the ones calling on the Lord out of a pure heart.

But refuse the foolish and uninstructed questionings, knowing that they generate quarrels.

and they will turn away the ear from the truth and will be turned aside to myths.

Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ according to the faith of the elect of God and full knowledge of the truth according to godliness,

not listening to Jewish myths and commandments of men, having turned away from the truth.

But keep back from foolish questionings and genealogies and arguments and quarrels of law, for they are unprofitable and vain.

Do not be carried away by various and strange doctrine; for it is good that the heart be confirmed by grace, not by foods, in which those walking in them were not profited.

For not following fables having been cleverly devised, but having become eyewitnesses of the majesty of that One, Jesus Christ, we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord.
