the one who before was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I received mercy, because being ignorant I did it in unbelief.

But about the virgins, I have no command of the Lord. But I give judgment, as having received mercy by the Lord to be faithful.

For you heard of my way of life when I was in Judaism, that with surpassing zeal I persecuted the Assembly of God and ravaged it.

according to zeal, persecuting the Assembly; according to righteousness in Law, being blameless.

But for this reason I received mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all long-suffering, for an example to the ones being about to believe on Him unto everlasting life.

Therefore, let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and we may find grace for timely help.

you who then were “not a people, but now are the people” of God; “who not having received mercy, but now receiving mercy”. Hos. 1:6, 9; 2:1, 23,
