I know that Jehovah will maintain the cause of the afflicted ones, the justice of the poor ones .

O Jehovah, God of vengeance; O God of vengeance, shine forth!

To have a stone and a stone is a disgusting thing to Jehovah; and a balance of deceit is not good.

He who robs his father or his mother, and says, It is not a transgression, he shall be a partner to a man who corrupts.

If you see the oppression of the poor, or the removing of justice and righteousness in the province, do not be amazed at the purpose. For a high one over a high one is watching; and high ones are over them.

For the vineyard of Jehovah of Hosts is the house of Israel, and the man of Judah is His delightful plant. And He waited for justice, but behold, bloodshed; for righteousness, but behold, a cry!

if you do not oppress the sojourner, the orphan, and the widow; and do not pour out innocent blood in this place, and do not go after other gods to your evil;

Let every man be on guard against his neighbor, and do not trust any brother. For supplanting every brother will supplant, and every neighbor will go about as one slandering.

And behold! I have struck My palm against your unjust gain which you have made, and at your blood which has been in your midst.

You shall not steal nor lie, and not deceive a man to another.

You shall not extort your neighbor, and not rob; you shall not allow the wages of a hired one to remain with you until morning.

And if you sell anything to your neighbor, or buy from the hand of your neighbor, you shall not each man oppress his brother.

And you shall not oppress each man his neighbor, and you shall fear your God, for I am Jehovah your God.

And they covet and seize fields and houses, and bear them off. And they oppress a man and his household, even a man and his possesion.

Woe to her rebelling and being defiled, to the oppressing city!

Jehovah, the righteous One is in her midst; He will not do injustice. Morning by morning He gives His judgment to the light; He does not fail, but the unjust one knows no shame.

And I will draw near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against those divining, and against ones doing adultery, and against those swearing to a lie; and against those who extort from the hired laborer’s pay; and turning away the widow, and the fatherless, and the sojourner, and the one not fearing Me, says Jehovah of Hosts.

You know the commandments: Do not commit adultery, do not commit murder, do not steal, do not bear false witness, do not defraud, honor your father and mother. Ex. 20:12-16

But I will warn you whom you should fear; fear the One who after killing has authority to cast into hell ; yea, I say to you, Fear that One!

(for I have five brothers, so that he may witness to them, that they not also come to this place of torment).

For God’s wrath is revealed from Heaven on all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, the ones holding back the truth in unrighteousness,

not avenging yourselves, beloved, but giving place to wrath, for it has been written, “Vengeance is Mine,” “I will repay,” says the Lord. Deut. 32:35

for it is a servant of God to you for the good. But if you do the bad things, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword in vain; for it is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to the one practicing bad things.

For behold this very same thing, you being grieved according to God, how much it fully worked earnestness in you, but also defense, but also indignation, but also fear, but also desire, but also zeal, but also vengeance! In everything you commended yourselves to be clear in the matter.

envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revelings, and things like these; of which I tell you beforehand, even as I also said before, that the ones practicing such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Therefore, I say this, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk even as also the rest of the nations walk, in the vanity of their mind,

The one stealing, let him steal no more, but rather let him labor, working what is good with the hands, that he may have something to give to the one that has need.

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for through these the wrath of God comes on the sons of disobedience.

If a man is found stealing a person of his brothers of the sons of Israel, and has dealt with him as a slave, and sold him, then that thief shall die. And you shall put away the evil from among you.

Vengeance and retribution belong to Me; in due time their foot will slip; for the day of their calamity is near, and the things prepared are hurrying for them.

even as you know each one of you how, as a father to his children, exhorting and consoling you,

in flaming fire giving full vengeance to the ones not knowing God, and to the ones not obeying the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, Isa. 66:15; Jer. 10:25

Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge fornicators and adulterers.

but one fully testified somewhere, saying, “What is man, that You are mindful of him; or the son of man, that You look upon him?”

But you dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich ones oppress you, and they drag you to judgment seats?

Behold, the wages of the workmen having reaped your fields cry out, being kept back by you. And the cries of the ones having reaped have entered “into the ears of the Lord of Hosts.” Isa. 5:9
