Better is a dry piece of bread, and quietness with it, than a house full of sacrifices with strife.

The beginning of strife is like the releasing of water, therefore leave off striving before it breaks out.

The one stealing, let him steal no more, but rather let him labor, working what is good with the hands, that he may have something to give to the one that has need.

for kings and all the ones being in preeminence, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.

and with it all, they also learn to be idle, going around the houses, and not only idle, but also bubbling gossip, and trifling ones, speaking the things not proper.

And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they may not be without fruit.

but the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of the meek and quiet spirit, which is of great value before God.

For do not let any of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil doer, or as a meddler in the affairs of others.
