And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, welcoming the Word in much affliction with joy of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, behold, I will lure her and bring her to the wilderness, and speak to her heart.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and let him take up his cross, and let him follow Me.

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. The one following Me will not walk in the darkness, not ever, but will have the light of life.

And the disciples were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit.

Then they indeed departed from the face of the sanhedrin, rejoicing that they were deemed worthy to be dishonored on behalf of His name.

Then, indeed, the assemblies throughout all Judea, and Galilee, and Samaria, had peace, being built up and going on in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, were multiplying.

And may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, for you to abound in hope, in power of the Holy Spirit.

Be imitators of me, as I am also of Christ.

But I praise you, brothers, that in all things you have remembered me, and even as I gave them over to you, you hold fast the traditions.

Therefore I urge you, be imitators of me.

as being grieved, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet enriching many; as having nothing, yet possessing all things.

And not as we hoped, but they gave themselves to the Lord firstly, and to us through the will of God,

But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,

Therefore become imitators of God, as beloved children,

Be fellow-imitators of me, brothers, and consider the ones walking this way, even as you have us for a pattern.

so as for us to boast ourselves in you in the assemblies of God for your patient endurance and faith in all your persecutions, and the afflictions which you endure,

For you yourselves know how it is right to act like us, because we were not disorderly among you;

Not that we do not have authority, but that we give ourselves as an example to you, for you to act like us.

preach the Word, stand by seasonably, unseasonably, convict, warn, encourage with all long-suffering and teaching.

for indeed you suffered together in my bonds; and you accepted the plunder of your possessions with joy, knowing yourselves to have a better and abiding possession in Heaven.

in which you exult; yet a little while, if it is needful, having been grieved in many various kinds of trials,

whom having not known, you love; in whom not yet seeing, but believing, you exult with joy unspeakable and being glorified,

And who is the one harming you if you become imitators of the good?

Beloved one, do not imitate the bad, but the good. The one doing good is of God; but the one doing evil has not seen God.
