And Samuel said, Gather all Israel to Mizpeh, and I will pray to Jehovah for you.

And now return the wife of the man, for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you, and you shall live. And if you do not return her, know that dying you shall die, you and all that are yours.

also, Watchtower; for he said, May Jehovah watch between you and me, for we are hidden, when we are out of sight, each from his neighbor.

And all the commanders of the army, they and the men, heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah. And they came to Gedaliah, to Mizpeh, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Careah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men.

And on the twenty-fourth day of this month the sons of Israel were gathered with fasting and with sackcloth, and with earth on them.

And Jeremiah went to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam at Mizpah, and he lived with him among the people remaining in the land.

Hear this, O priests, and attend, house of Israel. And give ear, house of the king. For the judgment is toward you, because you have been a snare to Mizpeh, and a net spread on Tabor.

Gather the people, sanctify the assembly, gather the elders, gather the children, and ones who suck the breasts. Let the bridegroom go out of his room, and the bride out of her room.

And the sons of Ammon were called together, and camped in Gilead. And the sons of Israel were gathered, and camped in Mizpeh.

And all the sons of Israel went out, and the congregation was assembled as one man, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, and the land of Gilead, to Jehovah at Mizpeh.

And Samuel summoned the people to Jehovah, to Mizpeh.

Is it not wheat harvest today? I will call to Jehovah and He will give sounds and rain. And know and see that your evil is great, that which you have done in the eyes of Jehovah, to ask a king for yourselves.

Also I, far be it from me from sinning against Jehovah, from ceasing to pray for you. But I will instruct you in the good and the right way.

And Samuel took a stone and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called its name Stone of Help, saying, Jehovah has helped us until now.

And he went from year to year even in a circuit to Bethel, and Gilgal, and Mizpeh, and judged Israel in all these places.

And the sons of Israel put away the Baals and the Ashtaroth, and served Jehovah only.

And the thing was evil in Samuel’s eyes when they said, Give to us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed to Jehovah.
