1 Samuel 26:19

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And now, please let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If Jehovah has moved you against me, let Him accept an offering. And if the sons of men, they are cursed before Jehovah; for they have driven me out today from joining myself with the inheritance of Jehovah, saying, Go, serve other gods.

And Judah came near to him and said, O my lord, please let your servant speak a word in the ears of my lord, and let not your anger be hot on your servant, for you are like Pharaoh.

I am of the peaceful, faithful ones of Israel. You are seeking to cause to die a city, and a mother in Israel. Why will you swallow up the inheritance of Jehovah?

And David said to the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? And with what shall I atone, and you bless the inheritance of Jehovah?

And again the anger of Jehovah burned against Israel, and moved David against them, to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.

And Jehovah said to him, How? And he said, I will go out and shall be a spirit of falsehood in the mouth of all his prophets. And He said, You shall entice him, and also you are able. Go out and do so.

And Satan stood up against Israel and moved David to number Israel.

Woe is me that I sojourned in Meshech; I dwell with the tents of Kedar!

He will give you according to your heart, and He will fulfill all your plans.

Do not slander a servant to his master, lest he curse you, and you be guilty.

Then you shall see and be bright; and your heart shall dread and enlarge. For the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you; the wealth of nations shall come to you.

And I shall give your cities to be a waste, and I shall make your sanctuaries desolate; and I shall not smell your soothing fragrances.

so no inheritance of the sons of Israel shall turn from tribe to tribe, for each man of the sons of Israel shall cling to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.

And the inheritance shall not turn from one tribe to another tribe. For the tribes of the sons of Israel shall each man cling to its own inheritance,

But if your brother is grieved because of your food, you no longer walk according to love. Do not by your food destroy that one for whom Christ died.

O that also the ones unsettling you will cut themselves off.

you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams. For Jehovah your God is testing you, to know if you love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul. Nothing is better for me than that slipping away I should slip away to the land of the Philistines. And Saul will despair of me, to still seek me in all the border of Israel, and I shall slip away out of his hand.
