And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall ask for him according to the judgment of the Urim before Jehovah. At his mouth they shall go out, and at his mouth they shall come in, he and all the sons of Israel with him, even all the congregation.
And the king sent to call Ahimelech the priest, the son of Ahitub, and all his father’s house, the priests who were in Nob. And they came, all of them, to the king.
And Saul said to him, Why have you conspired against me, you and the son of Jesse, by your giving bread and a sword to him, and to ask of God for him, to rise up against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
Have I today begun to ask of God for him? Far be it from me! Do not let the king lay anything against his servant, against any of my father’s house, for your servant has known nothing of this, great or small.
And David asked of Jehovah, saying, Shall I go? And shall I strike against these Philistines? And Jehovah said to David, Go, and you shall strike the Philistines and save Keilah.
And David once again inquired of Jehovah. And Jehovah answered him and said, Rise up, go down to Keilah, for I am giving the Philistines into your hand.
And David asked of Jehovah, saying, Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake it? And He said to him, Pursue, for overtaking you will overtake, and recovering you shall recover.
