Bows of the mighty ones are broken; and they that stumble gird on strength.

And You have girded me with strength for the battle; You have bowed under me ones rising against me.

Their sword shall enter into their heart, and their bows shall be broken.

For the arms of wicked ones shall be broken; but Jehovah upholds righteous ones.

Be still and know that I am God! I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth.

causing to cease wars to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts apart spears; He burns the chariots in the fire.

There He broke the fiery arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.

Without Me they will bow in the place of the prisoners, and in the place of the slain they will fall. In all this His anger does not turn back, but His hand is still stretched out.

He gives strength to the faint, and to him with no vigor He increases power.

For though you had stricken the entire army of the Chaldeans who fight against you, and only wounded men remained among them, yet they would rise up, each man in his tent, and burn this city with fire.

Because ones devastating has come on her, on Babylon, and is capturing her mighty men, their bows are shattered; for Jehovah the God of recompenses repaying shall repay.

And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will rather gladly boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ might dwell on me.

Therefore stand firm, “having girded your loins about with truth” and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,” Isa. 11:5; 59:17

I can do all things in Christ, the One strengthening me.

And what more may I say? For the time will fail me telling about Gideon, Barak, and also Samson and Jephthah, and also David and Samuel, and the prophets,

quenched the power of fire, escaped the mouths of the sword, acquired power from weakness, became strong in war, armies of foreigners being made to bow.
