Also I, far be it from me from sinning against Jehovah, from ceasing to pray for you. But I will instruct you in the good and the right way.

Because of this also, from the day in which we heard, we do not cease praying on your behalf, and asking that you may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of His Son, how without ceasing I make mention of you

I have thanks to God, whom I worship from my forefathers in a pure conscience, how unceasingly I have remembrance concerning you in my petitions night and day,

night and day praying beyond all measure for me to see your face, and to complete the things lacking in your faith?

even You hear in Heaven, and shall forgive the sin of Your servants, and of Your people Israel, for You shall teach them the good way in which they shall go, and shall give rain on Your land which You have given to Your people for an inheritance.

Therefore Peter was indeed kept in the prison, but fervent prayer was made by the assembly to God on his behalf.

My sons, come, listen to Me; I will make known to you the fear of Jehovah.

So says Jehovah, Stand by the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; and you shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk in it.

whom we proclaim, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man fullgrown in Christ Jesus,

as I drew nothing back of the things profiting you, so as not to declare and to teach you publicly, and according to houses,

The Preacher sought to find out pleasing words, and words of truth written on uprightness.

I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have made you walk in the right tracks;

For if I preach the gospel, no glory is to me; for necessity is laid on me, and it is woe to me if I do not preach the gospel.

And it happened on the morrow, Moses said to the people, You have sinned a great sin. And now I will go up to Jehovah; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin.

And all the people said to Samuel, Pray to Jehovah your God for your servants, that we may not die, for we have added this evil to all our sins, to ask a king for ourselves.

And Jehovah said to me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before Me, My soul is not toward this people. Send them from My face; yea, let them go out.

But if they are prophets, and if the Word of Jehovah is with them, let them now intercede with Jehovah of Hosts that the vessels which are left in the house of Jehovah, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, may not go to Babylon.

And Jeremiah the prophet said to them, I have heard. Behold, I will pray to Jehovah your God according to your words; and it shall be, all the Word which Jehovah shall answer, I will declare to you. I will not keep back a thing from you.

And the thing was evil in Samuel’s eyes when they said, Give to us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed to Jehovah.

Who is the man who desires life, who loves days in order to see good?

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; those who love you shall prosper.

And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk in it, when you go right, or when you go left.
