If you yourself do not know, most beautiful among women, go out yourself in the footsteps of the flock. And feed your kids beside the dwellings of the shepherds.
and they are dogs strong of soul; they do not know satisfaction. And they are shepherds; they do not know to discern; they all look to their own way, each one for his own gain, from his own end, saying:
And His people remembered the days past of Moses and His people, saying, Where is He who brought us up from the sea with the shepherd of His flock. Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within him,
But if you will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride. And my eye shall bitterly weep and run down with tears, because the flock of Jehovah was captured.
So I will give their wives to others, their fields to those who possess them. For everyone from the least even to the greatest cuts off a profit; from the prophet and to the priest, everyone deals a lie.

And you, and your sons with you, shall keep your priesthood, in everything that pertains to the altar, and to that inside the veil. And you shall serve; I have given you the priesthood as a service of gift; and the stranger who comes near shall be caused to die.
But Paul answered, What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For not only am I ready to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.
Who serves as a soldier at his own wages ever? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its fruit? Or who shepherds a flock and does not eat of the milk of the flock?
(It is right for the overseer to be blameless as a steward of God) not self-pleasing, not prone to anger, not given to wine, not a quarreler, not greedy of ill gain;
who gave Himself on our behalf, “that He might redeem us from all lawlessness” “and purify” “for Himself a people for Himself for possession,” zealous of good works. Psa. 130:8; Eze. 37:23; Deut. 14:2
watching diligently that not any lack from the grace of God, that “no root of bitterness growing up” may crowd “in on you,” and through this many be defiled; Deut. 29:18
