Therefore putting aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

Let all bitterness, and anger, and wrath, and tumult, and evil speaking be put away from you, along with all malice.

Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of evil, in meekness receive the implanted Word, the one being able to save your souls.

Do not speak against one another, brothers. The one speaking against a brother, and judging a brother, he speaks against Law, and judges Law. But if you judge Law, you are not a doer of Law, but a judge.

“For the one desiring to love life, and to see good days, let him restrain his tongue from evil, even his lips not to speak deceit.

Blessed is the man to whom Jehovah does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

Brothers, do not be children in your minds, but in malice act like children, and in your minds be mature.

having been filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, iniquity, covetousness, malice, being full of envy, murder, quarrels, deceit, evil habits, becoming whisperers,

Or how can you say to your brother, Brother, allow me to take out the chip in your eye, yourself not seeing the beam in your eye? Hypocrite! First take the beam out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the chip in your brother’s eye.

So you also indeed outwardly appear righteous to men, but within are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

Hypocrite, first take the beam out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to take the chip out of the eye of your brother.

A Psalm of David. Do not inflame yourself with evildoers; and do not be envious against workers of perversity;

For I fear lest somehow, coming, I not find you as I wish, and I be found by you such as you do not wish; lest somehow there be strifes, envyings, angers, intrigues, evil speakings, slanders, puffings up, disturbances;

Do not envy evil men, nor desire to be with them.

Do not be envious of the man of violence, and choose not among all his ways.

And no guile was found in their mouth, for they are without blemish before the throne of God.

as free men, and not having freedom as a cover of evil, but as slaves of God;

Or do you think that vainly the Scripture says, The spirit which has dwelt in us yearns to envy?

But if you have bitter jealousy and contention in your heart, do not boast and lie against the truth.

For our exhortation was not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile;

So then let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with leaven of malice and of wickedness, but with unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him and says concerning him, Behold, truly an Israelite in whom is no guile!

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For you are as the unseen tombs, and the men walking over them do not know.

And you shall defile the plating of your carved images of silver; and the plating of your molten images of gold. You shall strew them as a menstruous cloth; you shall say to it, Go out!

Should we give, or should we not give? But knowing their hypocrisy, He said to them, Why do you tempt Me? Bring Me a denarius that I may see.

and will cut him in two, and will appoint his portion with the hypocrites. There will be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.

Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy concerning you, saying:

In that day a man shall cast out his silver, and his golden idols which they made for him to worship to the hole of the burrowers and to the bats;

For I was jealous of those boasting; I saw the peace of the wicked ones.
