Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the elect sojourners of the dispersion of Pontus, of Galatia, of Cappadocia, of Asia, and of Bithynia,

And Haman said to King Ahasuerus, There is a people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of your kingdom. And their laws are different from every people, and they are not doing the king’s laws. And it is not for the king’s gain to let them alone.

You have given us like sheep for food and have scattered us among the nations.

Yet I will leave a remainder, so that may be left to you refugees of the sword among the nations, in your scattering among the lands.

And I will scatter you among nations, and shall draw out the sword after you, and your land shall become a waste, and your cities shall be a desolation.

And the names of the twelve apostles are these: First, Simon who is called Peter and his brother Andrew, James the son of Zebedee and his brother John,

And except those days were cut short, not any flesh would be saved. But on account of the elect, those days will be cut short.

And walking beside the sea of Galilee, Jesus saw two brothers, Simon being called Peter and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishers.

and will God no not execute the avengement of His elect, those crying to Him day and night, also being long-suffering over them?

and not only on behalf of the nation, but that He also might gather the children into one, the ones having been scattered.

Therefore the Jews said amongst themselves, Where is this One about to go that we will not find Him? Is He about to go to the Dispersion of the Greeks, and to teach the Greeks?

And finding a certain Jew, Aquila by name, of Pontus by race, having recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had ordered all the Jews to leave Rome, he came to them.

And spending some time, he went out, in order passing through the Galatian region and Phrygia, making strong all the disciples.

And this happened over two years, so that all the ones living in Asia heard the Word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

But some of the ones of the synagogue being called of the Libertines, rose up, also some Cyrenians and Alexandrians, and some of the ones from Cilicia and Asia Minor, disputing with Stephen.

Then, indeed, the ones being scattered, were going about, preaching the gospel, the Word.

The assemblies of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla greet you much in the Lord, with the assembly in their house.

For, brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant as to our affliction having happened to us in Asia, that we were beyond measure burdened beyond our power, so as for us even to despair of living.

and all the brothers with me, to the assemblies of Galatia.

that at that time you were without Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers of the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

So, then, you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens of the saints and of the household of God,

And Jehovah shall scatter you among all people, from one end of the earth even to the other, and you shall serve other gods there, wood and stone, which you have not known, and not your fathers.

I said, I will dash them to pieces; I will make their memory cease from among men;

And Jehovah shall scatter you among the peoples, and you shall be left few in number among the nations there to which Jehovah shall lead you away.

You know this, that all the ones in Asia turned away from me, of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.

These all died by way of faith, not having received the promises, but seeing them from afar, and being persuaded, and having welcomed them and confessed that they are strangers and sojourning ones on the earth.

James, a slave of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes in the Dispersion, greeting:

Beloved ones, I exhort you as foreigners and aliens to abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul;

Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to the ones equally precious with us, having obtained faith in the righteousness of our God and our Savior, Jesus Christ:

saying, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last; also, What you see, write in a book, and send to the seven assemblies of Asia: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.
