any prayer, any supplication that shall come from any man of all of Your people Israel, who shall each man know the plague of his own heart, and shall spread his palms toward this house,

And Solomon stood before the altar of Jehovah, across from the assembly of Israel, and spread his palms toward the heavens;

When there is famine in the land; when there is pestilence, blasting, mildew, locusts; when there is the stripping locust; when its enemy has distressed it in the land in its gates; any plague, any sickness,

even You hear in Heaven Your dwelling- place and shall forgive and shall act, and shall give to each man according to all his ways, whose heart You know (for You have known, You alone, the heart of all the sons of Adam),

whatever supplication, whatever prayer shall be made for each man, and for all Your people Israel, when they know each man his own plague, and his own pain, and he shall spread out his palms toward this house;

Also, I will not restrain my mouth; I will speak in the distress of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.

O my soul, why are you cast down? And why do you moan within me? Hope in God, for I yet thank Him for the salvations of my face and my God.

O my God, my soul is cast down within me; on account of this I remember You from Jordan-land and from the Hermons, from Mount Mizar.

I will say to God my Rock, Why have You forgotten me? Why do I go darkened when the enemy oppresses me?

And call on Me in the day of distress, and I will save you; and you shall glorify Me.

He shall call on Me and I will answer Him; I will be with Him in distress; I will rescue Him and honor Him.

And Moses said to him, As I go out of the city I will spread out my palms to Jehovah. The thunder will cease, and the hail will not still be, so that you may know that the earth is Jehovah’s.

The heart knows the bitterness of its soul, and a stranger does not share in its joy.

And when you spread out your palms, I will hide My eyes from you; also, when you multiply prayer, I will not hear. Your palms are full of bloods.

It may be Jehovah your God will hear the words of the chief cupbearer whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to reproach the living God, and rebuke against the words which Jehovah your God has heard. And you shall lift up prayer for the remnant that is found.

Let the priests, ministers of Jehovah, weep between the porch and the altar; and let them say, Have pity on Your people, O Jehovah, and do not give Your inheritance to shame, for a proverb among those of the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, Where is their God?

And if the leprosy breaks out greatly on the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of the one who has the plague, from his head even to his feet, to all that appears to the priest’s eyes,

And I said, I am cast off from Your eyes; only I will again look to Your holy temple.

O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Be anxious about nothing, but in everything by prayer and by petition with thanksgivings, let your requests be made known to God;
