Judah and Israel were many, as the sand by the sea in multitude; eating and drinking and rejoicing.

And I will make your seed as the dust of the earth, so that if a man can count the dust of the earth, then your seed also will be counted.

He brought him outside and said, Look now at the heavens and count the stars, if you are able to count them. And He said to him, So shall your seed be.

that blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is on the lip of the sea. And your Seed shall possess the gate of His enemies.

And You said, dealing I will deal well with you, and I will make your seed like the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.

And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a numerous people that cannot be numbered or counted for multitude.

And God gave Solomon exceeding great wisdom and understanding, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the lip of the sea.

My servants will bring it down from Lebanon to the sea. And I will make floats for them in the sea to go to the place that you tell me. And I will spread them out there; and you shall take them up. And you shall do what I desire, to give food for my house.

Do not listen to Hezekiah, for so says the king of Assyria, Make with me a peace treaty and come out to me; and you each man shall eat of his vine, and each man of his fig tree, and you each man shall drink of the waters of his own well,

And they were there with David three days, eating and drinking. For their brothers had prepared for them.

Behold, a son shall be born to you; he shall be a man of rest, and I will give him rest from all his enemies all around, for Solomon shall be his name, and I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days;

While this one was still speaking, this other came and said, Your sons and your daughters were eating and drinking wine in the house of their brother, the first-born.

In the multitude of people is the king’s glory, but in the lack of people is the ruin of a ruler.

Is it not good that he should eat and drink and make his soul see good in his labor? This I also saw, that it was from the hand of God.

But behold, joy and gladness, slaying oxen and slaughtering sheep; eating flesh and drinking wine, saying, Eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!

But they shall each man sit under his vine and under his fig tree, and there shall be no trembling; for the mouth of Jehovah of Hosts has spoken.

In that day, a statement of Jehovah of Hosts, you shall call each man to his friend to sit under the vine and under the fig tree.

Jehovah of Hosts shall defend them. And they shall devour and subdue the slingstones. And they shall drink and be boisterous, as with wine. And they shall be full like a bowl, like the corners of the altar.

And according to a day continuing steadfastly with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food in great joy and simplicity of heart,

And he brought him down. And, behold, they were spread out over the face of all the earth, eating and drinking and feasting, with all the great plunder which they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out of the land of Judah.
