And a man drew a bow in his simplicity, and he struck the king of Israel between the joints of the breastplate. And he said to his charioteer, Turn your hand and take me out from the camp, for I am wounded.

And Jehu filled his hand with a bow and struck Jehoram between his arms. And the arrow went out from his heart. And he sank down in his chariot.

And the king of Syria commanded the commanders of the chariots that he had, saying, You shall not fight with small or great, only with the king of Israel by himself.

And the archers shot at King Josiah. And the king said to his servants, Pass me out, for I am severely wounded.

Who is this who speaks, and it occurs, though the Lord does not command it?

And I also have made you sick, to strike you, to desolate you because of your sins.

And they had breastplates like iron breastplates; and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle.

And David put his hand into the pouch and took a stone from there. And he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead. And the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth.
