And he said, Far be it from me to do this. The man in whose hand the cup was found, he shall become a slave to me; and you go up in peace to your father.
and said, Far be it from me by my God to do this. Shall I drink the blood of these men with their lives? For they have brought it with their lives. And he was not willing to drink it. The three mighty ones did these things.
And the prince shall not take of the people’s inheritance, oppressing them from their possession. He shall bequeath to his sons from his possession, so that My people shall not be dispersed, each man from his possession.
so no inheritance of the sons of Israel shall turn from tribe to tribe, for each man of the sons of Israel shall cling to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
Let it not be! But let God be true, and every man a liar; even as it is written, “That You should be justified in Your words, and will overcome in Your being judged.” LXXPsa. 50:6; MT-Psa. 51:4
Then has the good become death to me? Let it not be! But sin, that it might appear to be sin, having worked out death to me through the good, in order that sin might become excessively sinful through the commandment.
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Let it not be! But I did not know sin if not through law; for also I did not know lusting if not the law said, “You shall not lust.” Ex. 20:17
But may it never be for me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Far be it from us to rebel against Jehovah, and to turn away today from following after Jehovah, to build an altar for burnt offering, for food offering, and for sacrifice, apart from the altar of Jehovah our God, which is before His tabernacle!
And he said to his men, Far be it from me, by Jehovah. I shall not do this thing to my lord, to the anointed of Jehovah, to put out my hand against him. For he is the anointed of Jehovah.
