and you did evil more than all who have been before you, and went and made for yourself other gods and molten images to provoke Me to anger; and you have cast Me behind your back.
And now send, gather all Israel to me, to Mount Carmel and four hundred and fifty of the prophets of Baal, and four hundred of the prophets of the Asherah, who eat at the table of Jezebel.
And you shall speak to him, saying, So says Jehovah, Have you murdered, and also possessed? So says Jehovah, In the place where the dogs licked the blood of Naboth, so the dogs shall lick your blood, even yours.
And the king of Israel gathered the prophets, about four hundred men, and said to them, Shall I go to battle against Ramoth-gilead, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up, that the Lord may give it into the hand of the king.

And he built again the high places that his father Hezekiah had destroyed, and raised up altars for Baal, and made an Asherah, as did Ahab the king of Israel, and worshiped all the host of the heavens, and served them.
and you walk in the way of the kings of Israel, and caused Judah and those living in Jerusalem to fornicate like the fornicating of the house of Ahab; and also you have killed your brothers, the house of your father, who were better than yourself;
And he made his sons to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and did magic and divined, and used sorcery, and used mediums and the spiritknowers; he multiplied the doing of the evil in the eyes of Jehovah, to provoke Him to anger.
